The Peanut Shell was founded by mom Alicia Shaffer. The name Peanut Shell was used for the line because peanut was the nickname she and her husband used for their young son! The first products quickly created buzz and two months later, Shaffer was promoting the Peanut Shell products full time. The Peanut Shell brand is a favorite with celebrity moms.
